Will it splinter and hurt my dog?

Coffee tree wood has a tight, vertical grain. Instead of snapping into sharp shards like backyard sticks, it frays vertically into soft fiber.

Because it's a natural wood product, it's possible that small splinters can occur, but loose fibers and small pieces are fully digestible. If you notice any larger splinters, simply remove them and continue supervising your dog during chew time.

Doesn't coffee wood have caffeine?
